The article I chose is called Rare sickness kills child; officals urge vaccination. Five children were infected with a bacterial infection known as HIB. Three of these children were not vaccinated. A 7 month old recently died from this disease. It is sad to see children die from a sickness that cna be prevented. This sickness affects ifants and children under five years old. Survivors of this sickness can become deaf. There is a shortage in this vaccination. I have never heard of this disease or anyone having it this article stated that it is rare and most people think it is gone because it has not been seen for awhile but if your baby is not vaccinated they are at risk. This disease is fatal so you would be putting your childs life at risk if they dont recieve it.
