And if Obama loses?
By:Patrick Buchanan
As Patrick Buchanan explains, Obama's nomination is the last great step forward in the long march to equality in America. The country is obsessed with the race issue in this campaign. It show how "equal" everyone really is in America. We still have those ignorant perople that can't look past race. If they hadn't seem Obama and just heard his views, like on a radio, would it all be different? Americans do have other things they could be stressing about like the war or how each candidate can better our country but instead they will not look past Obama's race long enough to listen.

If Obama loses racism is the only reason McCain might beat him
By Jacob Weisberg
More voters including Republicans favor Obama this year because of Bush's legacy. Obama has inspired millions with his speeches while McCain has struggled, yet they are tied. In the CBS/New York Times poll it states that 26% of whites say they have been victims of discrimination, 27% say too much has been made of problems facing black people, 24% say the country isn't ready for a black president,I do question that if not readt not then when will we be ready? And 5% say they would not vote for a black president.

Why is Obama evoking race time after time?
By:Victor David Hanson
In this election there are many accusations of racism. Where it should be a tragedy,Obama seems to be using t as a political advantage. He seems overly obsessed with his identity. He stands against racism and says it should play no role in this election but yet associates with openly racist people. Rev.Wright ,for example slurs American,Ludicris is a racist rapper but Obama is close with both of them. He seems to tolerate racism ,this is not bringing people together but actually pulling them apart.
